Traveling Hands is a site-specific installation created for Maxi.kunst, an exhibition space located in a former bank building in Nuremberg. On the old metal shelves that were once used when the building functioned as a bank, I placed hands made from wire and from paper printed with images of various skin tones, scattered without bodies. These hands are arranged in walking gestures across the shelves, each lit to evoke the feel of a theatrical scene.

〈Traveling Hands (여행하는 손)〉은 뉘른베르크의 옛 은행 건물을 전시장으로 사용하는 Maxi.kunst 공간에 설치한 장소특정적 설치 작업이다. 은행 시절 사용되던 철제 선반 위에 서로 다른 피부색의 손 사진과 철사로 만든 손들을 몸 없이 흩어놓았다. 이 손들은 걸음을 옮기는 듯한 다양한 제스처를 취하며 선반 위에 퍼져 있고, 각 손마다 조명을 달아 마치 하나의 연극적 장면처럼 연출되었다.
