Scanned mandarin peels are reassembled into sculptural figures, posed like miniature warriors. Placed on a raised platform and spaced apart, they evoke cinematic battle scenes while highlighting the contrast between heroic gesture and material fragility.

The work began as a response to the invisible forces that shape and constrain individuals, like gravity forming stars into perfect spheres. By imagining what remains when mass and density are stripped away, the peels become symbols of resistance—not through strength, but through hollowness.

〈Skin Squad, Break the Encirclement!(껍질 군단, 포위망을 돌파하라!)〉는 스캔한 귤껍질 이미지를 콜라주해 만든 조각 설치 작업이다. 각 귤껍질 조각은 영화 속 주인공의 과장된 맨몸 공격 자세를 취하고 있으며, 좌대 위에 일정한 간격으로 배치되어 바깥쪽을 향해 펀치를 날리거나 발차기를 하는 모습으로 구성된다. 이 작업은 중력처럼 개인을 정형화하고 제단하는 보이지 않는 힘에 대한 반항에서 출발했다. 거스를 수 없는 중력에 직접 저항하기보다는, 납작하고 흐물흐물한 귤껍질처럼 질량과 밀도를 낮춘 존재가 입체가 되어 공간을 점유하고, 외부를 향해 팔다리를 뻗어 저항하는 상상을 물질화했다.
