I've Been Around (For a While) is an ongoing drawing project based on collected photographs of strangers. The images depict spaces that I once occupied, or areas within my personal surroundings, previously inhabited or passed through by people I do not recognize, across different periods of time.

〈I've Been Around (For a While)〉는 오랫동안 수집해온 낯선 사람들의 사진을 트레이싱지에 옮겨 그린 드로잉 연작이다. 이미지 속 인물들은 내가 한때 머물렀던 공간, 혹은 일상적인 환경 속을 스쳐 지나간 사람들로, 서로 다른 시기에 촬영되었지만 모두 낯선 존재들이다. 두께감 있는 오일파스텔로 사진을 따라 그리며 이목구비를 비롯한 세부는 흐릿하게 뭉개졌고, 형상은 색채로만 남겨졌다.
